Version 2026-10-24-draft

Terms of Service

The rules for using ARSC during the US pilot.

Draft for the pilot, pending legal review. It is not yet in effect for real members.

Who can join

You must be 13 or older. During the pilot ARSC is open to holders of US amateur callsigns. If we learn that a member is under 13, we will close the account and delete its data.

You may claim only a callsign you hold. A claim is labeled “Claimed” until stronger verification exists. Claims can be reviewed by moderators, and a callsign can be reassigned to the license holder.

You may change your callsign once every 30 days. A released callsign is held for you for 30 days before anyone else can claim it.

Your account

Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Signing out ends your sessions on every device, and sessions end after 30 days without use.

You can close your account at any time from Account settings. You have 30 days to change your mind; after that the account and its data are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

The service

ARSC is a pilot. Missions, scoring, ranks, and features may change, and progress may be adjusted to correct errors or abuse.

Conditions, spots, and reception reports come from third parties and are context only. They do not prove that a station is available or that a contact occurred.

The service is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, ARSC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use.

Breaking the code of conduct can lead to removal of content or credit, or suspension of your account.

Changes and contact

When these terms change you will be asked to accept the new version before you can post activity.
