Version 2026-10-24-draft

Code of conduct

Be the operator you would want to work. Play fair, help newcomers, follow your license.

Draft for the pilot, pending legal review. It is not yet in effect for real members.

On the air

Operate within the privileges of your license and the rules of your country. ARSC missions never ask you to break them, and no ribbon is worth it.

Log only contacts that happened. Do not invent, trade, or pre-arrange contacts to earn credit, and do not log for a callsign you do not control.

Be courteous on frequency: listen first, keep exchanges short when others are waiting, and never deliberately interfere with another station.

With other members

ARSC is open to everyone. Harassment, threats, slurs, and personal attacks are not tolerated, on the site, on the air, or in ARSC Discord channels.

Help newcomers. Ranks reward mentoring and leadership, not gatekeeping.

Respect privacy. Do not post another member’s address, location, or personal details, and do not use the map to track anyone.

Enforcement

Moderators may remove content, reverse credit earned in breach of this code, revoke a callsign claim, or suspend an account. Serious or repeated breaches end membership.

ARSC is a game for licensed operators, independent of any military or veterans’ organization. Ranks and ribbons are ARSC recognitions only.
